It's pretty complicated, actually. I can't explain it entirely, as even I have trouble understanding the laws. It depends on the material, for one. If it's owned by Viacom, please don't bother. Viacom is gonna get hissy, so always check and research if you even wanna try to do something like this site. Most gaming companies could care less about most of their properties that they don't bother with, so it is still illegal, but the legality hardly says anything about how much the owners will care. I'd recommend asking David about this, personally.

He's been running this site for years, and will know more than some kid that just happens to like to research stuff.
