What are some interesting facts about your family, or family history?

Tip of the family iceberg: I have around 10 relatives on my mom's side that I see a few times a year, since they all live in the same city. On my dad's side, however, I have around 80 or so relatives. Only met about 17 at least once in my life. The rest I have never met.

An uncle and my grandpa on my mom's side are both avid fishers and hunters. The same uncle owned and rented out apartments, of which my brother stayed at during his time in college (still had to pay, but it was a major discount).

Unlce and Aunt on my dad's side (the one's I've met and visited), to my estimated knowledge, own around 30-40 McDonalds all along the east coast. Possibly some other businesses I don't know about. I don't know he still is, but I learned years ago that my uncle is the founder and president of "Black McDonald's Owners of America". Yeah I know what you're probably thinking- I've never actually confirmed this for myself, though.

They also own a house in the same neighborhood where Tiger Woods owns one (if he still does).

In my immediate family:

-My brother, sister and I are half black, although you would never guess my sister is. She's as white as any of her white friends with blonde hair, blue eyes. I apparently could pass for a hispanic, even had some girl come up to me speaking spanish once a long time ago.

-Brother is a bodybuilder and has competed in Mr. Minnesota a few times. Took first in teen division at 19.

-From the time I was born and to this day, my family (now just my parents) has always had at least one poodle for a dog without any breaks in owning pets. I can remember only one different dog we had, a shelty. Well, and whatever type of dog my sister had that my mom now takes care of.

Well some my family is drug addicts and criminals I have family in indianapolis thats part of the maf** thats on my moms side I have family in kentucky thats on my dads side that I see once every two years or so. I'm kin to George Jones the country singer on my mom's side of the family. He's my third cousin but I really hate him because he never see's my grandmother or help her out financially the only thing he does is give her a free pass to his concerts hes such a prick to our family My sister used to model for dillards clothing store but she cant now because she has kid's. She met allen jackson in person she served him drink's. My brother inlaw is a cop in are local town.

A basic fact is that my mom has plenty of cousins, but rarely sees any of them. I have around 6 on my mom's side and we have already promised each other that we will not reach a point where we stop talking to each other regularly.

My Dad's dad was interested in genealogy for years (the link goes to wikipedia if you don't know what genealogy is). He did countless hours of research into various sources of information. He traveled to Ireland (we're Irish) and found information that isn't available online anywhere. Turns out some of my many ancestors were kings. That's a nice tidbit of info.

I'll give three:

1. No one has blue eyes

2. My ancestors were ministers to kings

3. I'm not related to a presideent (it seems like everyone is nowadays )

My grandma on my Mom's side has 10 cats and three dogs. She lives so far out in the middle of nowhere that if Columbus had tried to go there he would have turned around and said, "Oh God! They were right! The world is flat! Go back!"

My parents live so far out in the boonies that deer graze in their yard.

My sister has the same size foot as me even though she's only 12 and I'm 19.

Me and my parents have 4 dogs and 3 cats.

Me, my dad, and my sisters all have our birthdays in 'J' months. January (me and Daddy), June (my sister Fawn), and July (my sister Amity). My mom's Birthday is in May.
