I had trouble catching Latios because every time i found him i was never prepared and the weakest part was that in the game they never gave me a master ball that made it so much harder.

The most annoying pokemon to catch for me was Entei in Pokemon Crystal every time i went near it it ran somewhere else it was REALLY ANNOYING and iv still not caught it.

superscyth09 : heres a tip make sure you are inbetween a town and a route ( most likely new bark town and the first roue you go on) MAKE sure you get a lot of max repels and run back and forth check your map and if its on a close route like the one with the edges so you cant get pass and if its one of those places put on a max repell and you will find plus have a pokemon hat has mean look repet till you catch them

I think that a really annoying pokemon to catch would be chansey in the safari zone. They like would have u use 10 safari balls and still wouldn't get captured and flee when you are just about all out of balls.

The hardest Pokemon for me to catch is Rayquaza on Emerald. It took me a while to catch it because my Pokemon weren't high leveled and because he kept on breaking free of my balls. I finally caught him with a great ball.

Well, lots of Pokemon were hard for me to catch, but one that strikes me when I think of them is Kyurem (B&W). At the time, I only had 20 Pokeballs and nothing else. Half of my Pokemon were KO'd, Victini the only one at near full health of the ones up and going. At that time I knew Kyurem had a catch rate of 3, so I bought a few Ultraballs, but I used them all on a Ditto so I can trade for a Rotom. I didn't feel like going back, so I went ahead. I'll skip a few things to when I was catching it. So I used False Swipe (caught a Zangoose) on him, so I figured Pokeball time. It took me 19 times before SOMEHOW it caught it. Here is a trick for catching Pokemon on DS games: See the Pokeball on the touch screen? When you select a ball, wait for it to hit. As soon as you see the ball hit the wild Pokemon, start circling the ball on the touch screen. It makes it much easier to catch.

Latios. I hated that thing. I spent hours trying to catch that bas...but then I got Emerald. In that one I actually remembered to get the Master Ball and voila, I caught it (though it wasn't as satisfying).

I'm glad it had an Adamant nature and decent IVs, or I would have been REALLY po'd...

I guess the games' just paying me back for getting an average of 4 legendary Pokemon per game file on my first Dusk Ball.

Mewtwo was probably one of the easiest difficult catches. On my old Pokémon Red cartridge, I spent a few hours lobbing Pokéballs and watching it kill itself with Struggle repeatedly. I saved right before the battle, so I could start over whenever it died. Eventually I was in a battle and got it down to half health and paralyzed. I was tired of investing my life savings worth of Pokéballs into it, so I just started tossing out regular Pokéballs. Miraculously, one of them worked. Now it's Level 100 and godly. I literally owned the R2 Master Prime Cup in Stadium 1.

Feebas in 3rd and 4th gen was a nightmare to catch mainly due to how absurdly hard it was to encounter. In 3rd gen, you had to fish from one of six possible tiles in the entire game that Feebas could be found at, and in 4th gen that number was reduced to four spots that changed daily. Fun.

The hardest pokemon to catch are the three legendary beast, or any other pokemon similar to them( latios, latias). First off, the legendary pokemon can flee from you easily if they are faster than you.
