I've been playing Harvest Moon for SNES for a few days, i try to load my saved game and it bumped me back to a previous saved spot, probably about 7 or 8 gameplay hours backward. I only use one slot to save in, and im positive i have been saving regularly, as earlier today it worked just fine. Why is it different now and is there a way to fix this? I want to continue playing the game but backtracking that far is a real pain.

I've had this exact same problem with Pokemon Emerald, it is a real pain like. I posted a long comment about it as well about a week ago on the saving progress thingy a bit above but I've not had a reply :/ Really annoying.. Cause I'm rather keen to resume gameplay but I don't fancy doing some backtrack where I may able to find out I could get my old saved state back :/

Not really sure, could be the saves havnt been updating properly.
I would say save in game and use save states, that way you should have one save that is acurate.
Maybe try saving a few times in a row.
Just make sure that the screen says at the bottom of it "Saving state to server" and then "save successful" and it should be ok.
If you cant get it working we'll have one of the RGR staffers run some tests and try and duplicate the error.
