Well...i currently own a PSP, and its a really cool unit. Much better than the DS. It has some things that are bad with it, but the only thing that i have been have problems with is that my memory card slot is tacky, the games for it are so-so..the battery hasnt been a problem with it yet, at all. I dunno if i could have one sit down that would drain it, other than Spiderman 2(movie) which drained it and killed it.

Other than that, I like the games i got for it, other than coded arms, and i love the graphics that they threw into this unit. Anyone else have one? AND they need a flippin RPG for it, like it would be nice to get a FF7 on it, or some sweet RPG..but

The thing about the PSP to me is all they give you is watered down console games. The DS gives you stuff you won't find on the Gamecube or GBA.

Oh and I can't understand why someone would want to buy a movie they could watch only on that whenn they could by the movie on DVD or Video and watch it in any DVD player or VCR. I mean you can get car DVD players cheaper than a PSP.

Yea..no s***..and they're more expensive...why not see it on a high definition tv..and not a lcd..

I have a PSP and don't own any games for it... 'Cause they ALL stink... I have a 1GB memory stick for it, on which I have some pictures, plenty of music, a few videos, and an SNES-for-PSP emulator with several ROMs. I use the PSP mainly for the ROMs, aside from being a glorified MP3 player...and I love it.

You bought a PSP for music? You could have gotten an ipod ofr WAY cheaper!

Well guess what ur all liers. The super flash bros(makers of decline of video game 1-3 and christmas) think the PSP has a wide variety of games. I like ALOT of people would take their opinion over yours :p. And they they for the most nintendo fan boys...

Rem we aren't liars. We have opinions. But from what I've seen they games are pretty much games you could get on the PS2. an editor at IGN said more or less the same thing, and he likes the PSP. I haven't even heard of the super Flash bros. And it doesn't matter what you or someone else thinks of my opinion because it is mine.

And ofcourse your gonna have games like teh PS2 when the specs r not extremely different. Advance games were basicly SNES games.

I'm saying they are basically the same games that are on the PS2. Why would I pay 250 to get games I pretty much already have on the PS2? And I might get a quote from what that guy said about software sales for DS and PSP.

I dont think the psp is all that good but if they release ffx for it(And you can transfer your old saves from ps2)Then im getting it!

Dont prepare to get one then...cause i seriously doubt they will bring FF10 to the PSP...

As of yet there anrt very many good games. Its probably a porn device for mike.... I think untold legends is the best game so far.

If you use emulators for it then don't play a new game or it will auto update.

If you have the media psp software and you download a update, then you cant have the emulator..fool

Anyone who buys a PSP and says "Im going to use it as a media player" deserves to be hit in the face. Its a s***ty media player. One gig memory sticks are like $40 USD right? TOTAL f***ING BULLs***. I dont know about everyone else but I could fill up about 20 of those with MP3's alone. Not to mention the assload of anime I have. If im going to buy a media player I want to be able to watch a large variety of whatever videos I may have and not have to deal with decreasing the quality so I can fit them on the unit itself.

You'd have to be a fool to buy the specialized DVD movies for the PSP, when you can buy a regular DVD for half the price and watch it on much higher quality display, hell buy a portable DVD player, you could buy 2 of those for the price of one PSP.

I was really surprised by the SSFB's opinion of the PSP, to me its a waste of money. The games at the moment are subpar, the best being Untold Legends.

I'd much rather play FF3, Animal Crossing, FF:Cystal Chronicles, Goldeneye and etc on my Hot pink DS . (All games listed are upcoming DS titles)

Hear Hear to that MM. I've been saying that for a while now. The movie thing makes no sense to me. And as I have said else where the games are mostly ps2 ports. And you may want to check this out. Go down the question and answer with Revolution Rumblings as the title. Matt's response is pretty funny when he talks about PSP and DS software sales.
