The question is simple. Do you think Karl Rove should be fired from his high ranking government position for participating in releasing the name of an undercover CIA operative to numerous members of the press?

President Bush and Press Secretary Scott McClellan said early on in the investigation that anyone who participated in the leak would be fired, and since it has been found that several government officials, including Karl Rove, leaked the name, it is time that they follow through on their promise.

I suppose if they said that all involved would be fired he has to. Simple as that. To be honest, i don't hear anything about the CIA.. does australia even have one... well, from what I know the name had also been "leaked" previous to this incident.

I dunno, I just don't see why it is such a big deal. I think it's the democrats looking for a way to hurt Bush. That's all and I think it's something stupid blown up into something it never was.

As a matter of fact, Geogree, she was undercover, and Colin Powell had circulated a memo a week or two earlier saying that her cover was "Top Secret". I find it hard to believe that Rove did not see that memo.

It seems like the associated press over did that one. It appears to be overplayed and overdone. Show me some solid connections. There isn't much to hold it to his name there. That novack character did a number on the thing. Kinda caused a stir there. Also that person that wont testify... possibly suspicious. You have to wait til the investigation is FINISHED. Then you may pass your judgement upon if he should be fired or not.
