It was also fought between two countries. The north had out side forces helping them along with south vietnamese rebels. The south had MANY people who helped the north and didn't tell the americans were the enemy was. The iraqis do that. They help out the US and allies. They tell them were trhe terrorists are. Also in vietnam, the media helped lose the war. They went crazy and made everything seem so bad the NVA decided they could win the war despite heavy losses. In my opinion, if the media hadn't done all that stuff we could have won the war.
