Okay. I've got an older sister who is in her 20's. She lives with my grandparents, and is just lazy. She has a drug problem. She's had it since she was 13 or something. She recently got into my grandma's car, and stole her own Klonopin. Guess what she did that for. To get high. God. I'm not as mad as I was a few hours ago at her, but I still wanna beat her up just for what she did. She ruins my awakening from sleep. Makes me angry. And just is walking trouble. I love her, but I wanna get her back for what she did.

She's addicted, yeah. I have sometimes worse problems than she does. She gets to live in a house and has no responsibilities, and gets her cigs. What do I get in contrast? I get a hard time in public, anxiety attacks, working my butt off just to get somewhere in life, and have to work for my money. She just sits on her butt and gets a smoke, and watches TV.

She's all I hear about. I grew up hearing, "She got high!" "She's in rehab!" "She got kicked out of rehab!" "Rehab for women!" "Rehab again again again!" "Oh, don't be like her." "You're so different from her." "She's driving high as a kite!" "Her boyfriend is scum." "She has another boyfriend."

Put her on a billboard, why don't ya?! I just wanna live life without hearing about my sister. Honestly, why do I have to be cursed with this troublemaking sister? My life is like a drug counseling documentary. It's tiring.

Venting over. *crazy smile*

That's just f***ed up. Honestly. You should tell her what you think of her. If she's smoking, grab her packet and cigerette and take them away from her, then tell her what you think. Maybe it'll change her. Or, the better route, you try and get her on the show Intervention. There's also another show like it called Addicted, I think. Honestly, if you get her on either of these shows, you're a lot more likely to get results than standard rehab.

My cousin disowned his sister. When people ask he just says that he doesn't have one. He doesn't talk to her, doesn't care where she is, and, he's fine. If someone causes that much stress for you, just, leave them alone. Let them work it out, it's their problem, don't make it yours.

Wow you have no idea how similar of a situation I was in for years I know exactly what its like and just a month ago I have escaped it after many many years of it, I know it sucks bad. First of all HIDE ALL DRUGS dont leave stuff laying around and who is supporting her habit the grandparents? Simply put, if you got no money and all the drugs in the house are hidden where she would never look she will have to either quit or she will go out looking for drugs or if she is bipolar suicidal she will pull guilt trips and seek attention to get her way.

You NEED to get your grandparents to tell it to her face they wont put up with it. All it takes is discipline and if she disobeys simply kick her out of house. Sooner or later she is going to have to wake up to reality that having a roof over her head is more important then getting high. Seriously the only way to end this is get your grandparents to tell her how it is. It might be rude but that is really the only way to fix this problem. Rehab or interventions won't fix crap, force her into a situation where she HAS TO CHOOSE her drug habit OR a roof over her head. That is my advice, and remember I've been through the same crap for years just got out of it a month ago and my life is so much better now

I've know exactly where your commin from dude, but advice on family matters is really hard to give if your not involved personally. Stay strong and do your own thing the best you can. Hopefully she'll grow out of it, I did.

Rasenganfan2 : She's a sociopath. She loves me, but could care less, as she's so addicted. I don't wanna bother with shows, as that would mean people who don't known me would find out who I am.

Sigh. At least I can laugh at Towelie...

My grandparents try to do all they can. They just can't do everything. She's bound to get in trouble soon enough, so meh. She also hates my mom, so she could do something if I'm not near my mom.

I was just venting. No advice was needed, as I'm too tired of her being like this to care much.

You Might think I'm crazy, but you should just forgive her and move on. It's the best thing to do. Let her be lazy and addicted to drugs, she will regret it some day.

You probably don't want sympathy (I wouldn't), but maybe some empathy would be acceptable? I know your situation sucks; my older brother was an addict, and my dad still is. Eventually she's bound to get into trouble, and hopefully that's able to snap her out of it. That worked for my brother, but my dad's been one prison sentence after another. I hated constantly hearing, "Don't be like your dad. Don't make the same mistakes your brother made." ... Funny, you have anxiety problems as well? They're the best... :/

StewartofGondor : My sister is pretty much walking trouble, so I have just accepted that she will never be out of trouble truly.

I'm surprised so many people have the same problem.

KlawedFlaw : I wish nobody else had to go through it, but unfortunately that's not reality. It looks like this utopia known as Vizzed has your back though. I'm glad venting seems to have helped. And, don't forget to bring a towel, m'kay?

StewartofGondor : Okay, Towelie. Wait. Mr. Macky?! I thought you quit your drug problem!

I'm over my sister now. She's still being stupid, but meh. I've got my own worries to lose my mind over.
