You know Totts, I've been liking the threads that I've been seeing from you a lot. This is a good one.
I too sometimes wish that I had more friends, but then I remember hearing something. Most friends that people have are not best friends, some are barely friends in the first place ("fair weather fans"). I am lucky to have 2 uber best friends and a few other best friends (though they've been very busy <8O).
If I could meet anyone, I'd like to meet Jesus first. I'd like to see what he would have to say about the way the world is now with all of its technology and such. I'd like to see how he would react. I'd also like to ask him about the Bible.
The next person that I would really want to see would have to be Mao ZeDong. This man was probably the most detrimental person to the human race in the 20th century (yes, he rivals even Hitler). And yet, we don't talk about him like that at all. I would want him to confess that he did not have China's best interest in mind and tell the people of China that he should not be praised the way that he is. The man practically destroyed the economy of China, allowed 40-70 million people (at least) to die, and he is why China had to resort to its extreme industrialism and will one day soon become the highest polluting nation in the world.
On a more personal note, I would really love to meet my Uncle Tony. He died when I was young and he was very close to my Dad and was a great person. He came to my party when I was a baby despite being very ill. I often wonder what he was like. Plus, my Dad always wishes that he was still alive so that I could meet him, and like I said, they were very close.
Sam Cooke is one of my favourite singers. I would love to have the opportunity to just talk with him. Also, I'd like to ask him what really happened that fateful night.
Ah, now someone who is actually alive. I would really love to meet Björk. She just makes me so happy.
Finally, I'd just love to see my friends some more. I'm surprised at how busy everyone is now and I really just want to spend a little time every now and again. I miss you guys.
