Yeah I believe I have... we were together for 5 years and well now we're not; feelings for her still haunt me, but I'm over it.

Ah yes, I have been in love. It was a beautiful thing at first, then, it turned into addiction or lust. Was it true love? Not really, more of an obsession. After a while, I began to realize that she was not that nice of a person (and I was not very good to her either). However, we learn from our mistakes (or at least we should). You can't force love. If it's there, it's there. Just let it happen. You'll know when you're in love, don't you worry. You'll know because you won't have to ask. There doesn't need to be a reason. That's the cool thing about love, there doesn't have to be a reason. In fact, reasons complicate it too much. If you love someone, you'll love them when they do nice things for you, but, will you still love them if they don't? If you can be yourself with them and not worrying about how to present yourself, you're in love. However, don't dramatize it. Being in a relationship isn't the best thing in the world, nor is it the only way to true happiness. Don't try and find the perfect person; you'll fail miserably. If you like her, she likes you good. The stars don't literally need to align for you to know. You'd be amazed at how many people do it wrong or go about it the wrong way. So yes, I was in love, however, then she stopped doing all of the nice things for me. I was not happy, being around her did not give me lasting happiness; it was almost like she was a drug. Don't go down that road. Let things fall in their place, have good intentions, and you shouldn't have to worry.

Also, young girls tend to be immature/mean/foolish/etc. They'll realize what's really important for a man to possess. The ones that don't...well, who cares!? They'll probably cheat on you anyway. Guys take even longer too mature. In fact, the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex for men (which "serves as the highest cortical area responsible for motor planning, organization, and regulation") doesn't develop until they are 25! That's right, men's logic and planning skills stay the same from around age 12 till about 25. So yeah, take your time. Learn to appreciate the simple things, don't force it, good intentions, yada yada yada. Have fun!

By love you must mean it's a mutual thing. Well then no xD. I've never been in love. I liked someone a lot. But when I told her my feelings it just fell apart from there. I feel like it was a horrible decision to tell her, since now it's almost like we're not even friends anymore.

I have and still am in love with my current boyfriend. We are doing the whole long distance thing because of college and it's hard, but our feelings are so strong that we have no problem being apart because we know that our educations will help us build a stronger life together in the future.

Not yet right now since I am only 14 years old, but it will the time will come eventually.

I have fallen in love twice both times heart broken, both times the girl left me for something stupid and small. Makes me think that people should get a stronger heart.

I was pretty depressed in my first heart break but after the depression ended i realized that moving on is the best thing to do, so when i got heart broken the second time i tried to move on as quickly as i could and i guess it worked even though now a prefer to be alone than in a relationship.

I thought so once. The guy and I were together for 2 1/2 years, most of his family thought we were "made for each other", as did my family. His mom found out who I truly was, and didn't like it, she kind of feared me. She talked him into thinking of "alternatives"to him and I. A couple months after a trip out of country with some of our friends, he started hanging out with one of my best friends, and ended it.

I can't say that I have.But hopefully when that day comes,if it ever comes,They will be able to take me as I am.

Yes.. I was in love approximately 3 years and 5 months ago. We were both in love then one night she decided to go party with her best friend(they were like brother and sister) then she decided to cheat on me with a 34 year old while she was a virgin and 16. At the time i was also 16. After that i gave up on highschool relationships because of the drama they created. So to answer your question yes i was in love and yes she broke my heart, but the past is the past and i have moved on.

I must say, though I'm only 15, I'm a strong believer in teenage love. Not the "dating a different guy every week, and I love him," but serious love.

When it comes to saying you love someone, you have to be careful. Like, I love some of my friends. I love my family. I love some of my male friends. But, purely in love, head over heels, is something not to joke around about, or to throw away or around.

Well, I truly think that I was in love but then my relationship became too complicated. My first boyfriend moved and we couldn't keep up with the long distance. I never feel like dating anymore. Guess I still have feelings for my first one.

Why yes i have been in love once. And he tore my heart to shreds. Ive told myself for a while now that im gonna give up on the thought of ever falling again, but ive realized lately that it just might be possible again.. and well i guess its one of those things that takes time and patience....but either way my mom has always said "better to have love and be loved than to never have loved at all."

Yeah. She ripped my heart out. Don't want to go into it, but she left me for another guy. It really tore me up inside, and I don't want her back. I only realized how horrible and psychotic she was afterwards.

The breakup, and falling out of love completely changed me. I was the most caring, sensitive, selfless man you'd ever find. Now I'm what someone like what I used to be would call evil. I moved into a frat-house for college, and am making up for quality with quantity. It's a reasonable alternative, and I'm happy now.

I'm still open to the idea of love, don't get me wrong, but she's going to have to be mindblowingly awesome, and I won't reduce myself to what I was in highschool. I'm always on the lookout...

Don't mess with love, don't underestemate it. Go for it, if it's worth it, but know when to get out.

I don't know if I have ever really been in love, if I think about it, I was only in love to meet my own needs, it's a bit sad and paiful really, but at least I'm honest.

I actually haven't been in love. I don't believe middle schoolers can be in love, but I think I accidentally broke a girl's heart in middle school. One of her friends asked me to date her and I said no.
