i haven't had much to do with gamecube but i hate thier controlers
i luv the small Xbox controlers they fit in your hand nicely
but i don't like PS 2 coz they r so much like PS 1

The Gamecube controller melts into your hand. After a few minutes I don't even realize I am holding it.

And again I am going to point out to you both that the graphics on the Gamecube and Xbox are pretty equal.

The real problem is most games look better on the Xbox because the Gamecube gets a bad port. But like I have already said the Star Wars Rouge Squadron series on the Gamecube is the only game I know of to push 15 million polygons.

yes i agree with you i think gamecube is real nice but really how many games do they make look nice. How many games are actually fun and addictive. i for one will choose nintendo over sony anyday but i want to see a good console before i choose em over microsoft i loved n64 and all of nintendos stuff but really they need more games that are appealing to the older audiances.

Mario and Zelda can appeal to everyone. SSBM too. But I know what you mean. They have been working on it though. Ahem, Well I have played many a game that is on both the GC and the X-box, and I can easily say the x-box games are smoother and have better framrates. Examples? Soul Caliber, PSO, NBA STREET, Pretty much all the sports games. I guess it could be bad porting and not utilizing what the GC has. Rougue Squadron looks good but I think the BOX could pull it off too. On the controlllers........ Have you ever played a FPS on your Gamecube? Or could you imaging playing a game like morrowind? The X-box controllers rule because they have analog triggers and more buttons.

My favorite controller of all time would have to be the Dreamcast though YEEEAY. Followed by the nastolgic six button genny conroller.

And yeah the dvd player on a system is getting stupid. I mean DVD players were $30 around Christmas. I could buy a DS and a combo DVD/VCR for the price of the PSP. I think the PSP will also literally eat batteries, also it's load times could be very slow, because they can't constantly stream like most systems do because they run off batteries.

Yeah I do think I could get used to the Gamecube controllers its just that they are wierd and the buttons seem out of place at first. I played some of the bond games for the GC and they just didn't feel right. The only conroller that I think isn't worth the cheese is the PS one. Nintendo should have held the FPS market by putting out a Perfect Dark game at the GC launch. BUt oh well, Hindsight is 20/20
