Best resolution to play the SNES or any game system in?

I have a 22 inch LCD and my resolution is 1680 x 1050. Is there a recommended resolution to the these games in to get the best picture out of them?

I'm very happy to have found this site as I was looking for online play of SNES games. Since I no longer have a SNES this is really cool. Thanks!

You will find there is virtually no difference except how large or small the game window is using different resolutions.
So any resolution should work fine, I have the same size screen and resolution and the snes games look just right to me.

lonegreywolf20 : I likewise have a 22-inch LCD monitor… I don’t know of any recommended resolution for SNES games but I haven’t personally had an issue and every game that I’ve played has come through without a problem… I assume what ever the recommended resolution is for your web browser should be ok to have optimum gaming. I have Internet Explorer, Firefox and, Google Chrome and I am yet to have any issues in terms of how games look.
