We do get tornadoes in Minnesota, but I've never seen any. I've lived in a large city the entire time I've lived there, and I only once have I heard of a tornado (a tiny one at that) touch down. IF it was one.

The closest thing to a tornado I have seen was this random gust of wind came out of nowhere and slammed my front door closed. I looked outside and the little 10 year old tree we had in our front yard was down the street. And then I went outside and there was tons of trash floating around in the sky.

We don't usually, but recently we've had a bit of a shock. We got hit by one in June, and it uprooted half of Leamington's trees, and then we got the after winds of Igor that hit NovaScotia and it was crazy windy for a solid 3-4 days.

I live in New York City and I've never seen or heard of any tornado's in this area.I couldn't imagine being around it. I went to Disney last year..and they had this exhibit that was based off the movie "twister" it was crazy and exciting. But it was FAKE! Couldn't imagine the real thing. LOL

not usually, but just recently there was a tornado in the middle of the city here in billings, MT. that was pretty freaky. sure, it was small, but the hail was bigger then golf balls and i was like a quarter mile from the tornado, it was everywhere. looked crazy, there was a bunch of debris slowly floating around it, with like a 75 yard radius
