(EDIT: I'll offer between 500 to 1000 Viz for this, depending on how well it's done!) Hey y'all... Could someone help me out with a layout? I've never been good at them (in fact I just jacked this one from Charmaine's official website), and I can't even do any graphics editing right now 'cause this computer's so lousy. I don't have Paint Shop or anything. I'd like to have a Melissa Polinar layout using one or both of these pics (in a blend or something if both): Piano-sepia Concert, at piano It should go well (somehow) with the userpic I've got selected on the left (Melissa's eyes). Other than that, I don't really care how it's laid out. Maybe have a small space where I can stick some text that'll include a link to one of her songs, like I have that space that says "Click on Charmy to visit her website," ya know? I'll give it a shot. When i have created the image that i will be using for the layout i will give it to you from somewhere.... most lijely image shack and you can choose to keep it there or load it to somewhere else. Ok? |

Question... Can it be sort of like Elara's layout, where the text (probably in bold to keep it from blending in) goes over the background with a scrollbar? (I know that might be a little much to ask, but it can't hurt to ask!  ) But yeah, that looks good. I would but i tried to do it for mine and it didn't work so sorry. Unless you can get the code of Elara for how she does it then i can't help with making it have a scroll bar...

As you can see, i got it to work... Umm, you can insert images using the standard images tags... I havent done that but as a demonstration i am going to make the text stretch down really far so that i know that the scroll bar is working...

By here i ment Melissa, as in "Do you want me to add the links and images?" I could use CSS but you would have to uploads the CSS page on the web to use it. But it depends on what you want the CSS to do, with out the CSS i can edit the color of the entire scroll bar aswell as all your font tags. If that was all the CSS was going to do then you won't need it, however Customer is King. If you would like the CSS i will need to know what you want it to do and colors, ECT. I will host it off my site if you like, and i'll create the CSS too. But as i said, if it was just to customize the colors if you want to save a lot of hassel you could do it all in standrd HTML as i have done. I have included the source for what i have created just incase.

Oh! Yes, I would like the links and images. As for the CSS, I think it also included the background (you can download Kawa's above and see)... The background actually has the text box drawn into it, and I think that was the main reason for using a CSS or something. Anyway, I really don't care if I have a CSS or not... Al right ill make it with out CSS with Images and With Link to music. Once its completed ill let you know. I'll post the source as well as what it acually looks like in here.

This is what i got with that.

Actually, let's go ahead and leave the image lighter but then I'll just PhotoShop in a text-box for the text to go into. (Did you look at Kawa's sample post?) That text box will be darker... So exatly what else do you want me to do? You want the scroll bar so i can put that in. How exactly do you want the images(s)? as a BG on the scroll bar? Beside the scroll bar so the text will move but the picture wont? In the scroll bar but not as a BG so the picture WILL move with the Scroll bar? I was going to put upo a few different designs but i though it faster to see what you want at this point now that youve seen a little bit. |
