i had the configuration set to gamepad but now it has a short in it and now i want to configure it back to keyboard but when i double click the screen it only says pad or teamplayer how can i set it back to keyboard? please help.

If you cant change the setting back to keyboard it has probably glitched or something.
If you delete your personal config file for the game system the next time you play the control setting will go back to default.
This config file is stored on your PC.

If you tell me what Windows do you have, XP, Vista or 7, I can tell you the where abouts of the config file so you can delete it.

Alright, what you do is go to the start menu, open "My Computer", click the address bar for "My Computer" and place the following text in it-

%HOMEPATH%Local SettingsApplication DataVizzedRgrGenesis

Then you press enter and you should be taken to the folder that stores your controller settings.
Find the file called Gens.CFG and delete it.
Your RGR genesis and 32x games should now be at default settings next time you play.
