Having Watched and read both of these I'd have to say that Dragon Ball is the better series because it was far more interesting, to me at least , and I liked how it wasn't drawn out like Naruto is kinda getting.

I'm Dragon Ball Z all the way. At least before all the censoring . I've read and watched a fair bit of Naruto when it made it's way west, but lost interest after the first exam tournament. Since I viewed DBZ years before, all I saw was a B level copy of a childhood favorite (I say that, but someone 10 years older than me will say the same thing about DBZ).

dragonball is one of the best anime ever.it beats naruto by far. dragonball was originally made in the 80s and brought to america in the 90s and now its being aired back on tv as dragonball kai.it has a very good story awesome characters good guys and bad.and they have made great games after it.

A more fair comparison would be between DBZ and Shippuden, especially when it comes to dubs.

Anyways Shippuden and DBZ are both pretty good, but I find Dragon ball z tends to drag and to me the best saga was the sayian saga,the whole thing with Frieza lasts way too long and after the Buu stuff just got weird....

Shippuden has been pretty interesting so far, but I'm just closing in on episode 125, so I haven't seen how it ends or anything (nad it's still going on).
