This is a big argument between DBZ fans everywhere. I think Vegeto would win because Akira Toriyama said himself in an interview that Vegeto is the strongest character in the series.

I'm not a huge DBZ fan. I've only recently started watching the series. But I've seen how bada$$ Vegeto is so I want to know what everyone thinks.

Oh one more thing. Please don't put something like 'I think Gogeta is stronger because he dresses cooler.' or 'I think Vegeto is stronger because I like him better.'

Those things have nothing to do with strength.

Vegetto is stronger than Gogeta. Old Kai clearly states in the manga and anime -both- that the Potara Fusion was far superior to the Fusion Dance and since they were rivals it made the fusion even more powerful... so yeah not even an argument here since it is stated as a FACT. And in the fusion dance Goku has to lower his power level to match Vegeta's to even do it thus already making it the weaker one since: 2+1=3(Vegetto) and 1+1=2(Gogeta), and thats not even including the bonus Potara Fusion gives for them being rivals.
