Have you guys heard this conspiracy theory before? Don't you think Cubone without its skull would look just like the baby in Kangaskhan's pouch? What if they really are the same Pokemon? After all, if Cubone gets its scull from its dead mother like I believe is mentioned in the anime, then how is it possible that every Cubone has a skull. Surely not every Cubone's mother can be dead? Perhaps Cubone is really the baby in Kangaskhan's pouch and everytime a Marowak dies, the baby climbs out and takes the Marowak's skull and becomes a Cubone. They do live in the same areas, after all (Safari Park). What are your opinions on this?

lulwat? No, a Cubone is a baby Marowak.
In the original games you first come across Cubone and Marowak in the Lavender town tower, a place which is a graveyard, not the Safari Zone.
Maybe Marowaks normally used to die in childbirth and that's where the story about the skulls came from, but seeing as though they all live in a graveyard in the original games it makes sense that maybe they got those skulls from the graves?
Oh, and no, Cubone really doesnt look like a baby Kangaskhan, they are entirely different colors for one thing.
If anything a baby Kangaskhan looks like a Sandshrew

Honestly I wouldn't listen to /b/, but anyways I do see a similarity in their looks. But I don't think they are the same Pokemon.

It's an interesting theory and it does have a bit of information to back it up.
But DH is right about the color, a baby kangaskhan is purple.
I don't think it's true or they would have actually made them turn into a kangaskhan not just a marowak.

Some nice picture editing by 4chan there.
Considering there is no body sprite for baby Kangaskhan in the games.
Seriously
Watch the series and you will see that baby Kangaskhan if anything looks like a Sandshrew, not a Cubone.

There's no such thing as a male Kangaskhan, is there? Maybe some Cubones have Kangaskhan mother's and Marowak fathers while others have both parents Marowaks. That way the Cubones that don't live in the ghost tower and don't have access to unlimited skulls can have a place to stay (with their Kangaskhan mothers) until they find a skull to wear and can emerge into the world.
By the way, baby Kangaskhans don't look like sandshrews in my opinion. They are the wrong colour and the wrong texture. I think that when they emerge from their mother's pouches to become Cubones they must change colour due to exposure to the sun just like some people tan or burn when they are outside or maybe more like how newborn babies are not always there right colour just after they're born.

The bone could belong to any Pokemon. There's no proof it's a Marowak bone. Or it could belong to whatever it is Cubones eat once they emerge from their mothers' pouches and can eat solid food.
I do not think this theory is that preposterous. After all, there are other strange occurences surrounding Kangaskhan. Doesn't MissingNo. (in red and blue) turn into one if you give it a rare candy?
EDIT:Also, baby Kangaskhans are really cute just like Cubones. So, obviously they're the same Pokemon!!!!!!!!!!

Could be possible that they could be from the same species much like Arbok and Serviper in a way but are completely different pokemon. It would be cool if that were true and it's a very interesting subject.

No cubone isn't a baby kangaskhan but it could easily be mistaken to be true because they do look very alike but baby kangaskhan's are a lighter color then cubones.

Yeah...no. Cubone is definitely unrelated to Kangaskhan, they look nothing alike... I don't believe in such conspiracy theories. Like there is no such thing as Area 51, the Davinci Code, the Holocaust, Dinosaurs, or about the plane crashing into the Pentagon (*wink wink*)...END.
