Hi all,

I am an avid gamer but alas this website has forced me to meet my doom. I have a Mac computer and this site is not compatible. I have asked around and it seems there is no way I can play. However as a last ditch effort I am offering a 1500 Viz reward for anyone who can get me set up to play games on this site. Legally is preferred please. If I have to pay to download something that is fine. All you have to do is direct me to the site and once I download and install the software, if I can play games on Vizzed, you get 1500 Viz.

You might be able to play these games on Mac if you got software to run windows on your mac. Theres software called VMWare Fusion which allows you to run windows on mac. Check it out here: http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/

I found one but just wanted to know if I need it. I'm assuming I do. I'm giving this all a try now. I will know in about 1 hour. That's what the download status is at right at the moment. 1 hour and 6 minutes remaining. Yikes! Over and out.


I just need to add an update on this.

Hey jigsaw, I downloaded that virtual machine from the website you recommended. It downloaded and installed fine. When I went to run it, it requests you insert your windows disc to install a windows operating system on the virtual machine. I don't have any discs so I tried downloading a trial version and installing from there. unfortunately it doesn't recognize that and says operating system not found. I do however now have a virtual machine to run windows systems. I think that when I have a bit more money I could perhaps buy windows and install it and it might work. However the issue isn't quite resolved yet. I wouldn't say it's a total bust though, we're close, I can feel it. Is there anything else you may be able to recommend?

I'm also a bit hesitant about shelling out 2 or 3 hundred or whatever it is to buy windows in case it doesn't work. I mean I would never use it otherwise. We'll wait and see for a bit.

Well, one thing you could do if you want windows is download a windows xp iso image from a torrent site.
Since some people dont think that that is ok though I wont say how to do that in this thread.
But there's a recomendation of how to get windows without paying anything...

Payment isn't required to download the vizzed link. I've tried it, and I thought it worked at first. I also had to figure out how to play games with the keyboard. Refer to the site's board option.

The Windows Operating System must be purchased. It's actually cheaper just to get a new computer that comes with a bunch of junk software though (thanks to business partnerships, especially with HP) because the actual disk for the OS is costly.

The alternative is to do the illegal, though I do not condone this and it's not my responsibility if you get caught. I only provide this information for educational purposes. There's a P2P (peer-to-peer) file sharing protocol known as BitTorrent. People create and publish "torrents" which contains the information on how to get certain files. The more people who share the file and "seed", the faster the download will be because bandwidth is shared. People who download and don't seed are known as "leechers" and generally looked down upon in the BitTorrent community. Anyways, you access this protocol with software clients. Some popular clients: BitTorrent, uTorrent, Vuze, Limewire, Frostwire, Tixati, Transmisson, BitComet, BitSpirit, Halite, and Deluge. Personally, I recommend uTorrent for Windows and Deluge for Mac. Torrent files can be found online from places such as thepiratebay.org and mininova.org. Use google. Note that it is NOT illegal to download via the BitTorrent client but it IS illegal to download pirated software and that includes a Windows OS. Also note that some torrents come with virus', use your own discretion (read the reviews, ratings, comments, number of seeds, ect).
