There currently are 65-70 members from the board in the game (that have sprites). By the time the game is finished, there'll probably be somewhere between 90-100 people (with sprites) from the board in the game all together. There will be additional characters from the board who wont have sprites in the game, basically they'll just live in an apartment and you can knock on their door and say somethin to them (those would be the low post posers; i've also mentioned that before).


The game's progress is still roughly at %30 complete, but I have it really well organized on paper. I basically have an entire skeleton (diagram) of the entire game and how it's gonna turn out, so I know exactly where I'm going

And the fact that I have basically ALL the graphics complete, the first world map complete, and pretty much all the sprites figured out, it's gonna be comming along smoothly. The release date still will probably be Christmas of 2005, and a demo (or trailler) by the end of summer

I've put about 12 hours into the game in the last couple of days, and I plan to put another 12 hours into it by the end of this week; another progress report (with lots of pictures) will probably be up within a week.

The December due date may get delayed, I'm a little behind schedule on Vizzed Ville, but I will do my best to get it out on top. I'm gonna have to cut a few of the plans for cut-scenes in teh game, they take up to much memory, and they take a very long time to make (i made a 20 second long cutscene, and it took me almost 5 hours to do). Chances are, there will only be about 5 cutscenes in the entire game, and only 3 of those will be longer than 5 seconds (roughly 20-30 seconds).

Sounds good david. Don't rush yourself to meet the deadline (Or kill yourself) Its good that you havn't scrapped with project or anything. and I KNOW how much time a GF takes up. I have a billion games that I havn't beaten or even played alot since I have one. I think I have given up hope on a few of them.

I do infact want to release this game by December, or before December ends.
Since I got a full time job now, I might end up cutting the length of this game... it wont be entirely a long game (unless you wanna do everything in the game), but it'll deffinately be worth playing. Who knows, maybe I could make a Vizzed Ville 2006....I doubt it though, unless I get real good feedback from this game once it's finished.
