today i was surfin the net to try and find newer info about the game and one site said the release date is oct. 26th and then another said dec. 10th one said aug. 3rd one said it came out march something of 09 and then one site said the release date is Q4 of 2010? what does that even mean?im so confused right now i just want to know the real release date for the sims 3 for ps3! lol

The ones talking about 2009 for example.

For the other dates in 2010 it means that there is not a solid set release date yet so they are guessing.
And Q4 means Quarter 4, being the fourth quarter of the year.
So any month between October and December.

GameFAQs says the release date is October 26th 2010 for the US, so just go by that date.
Or ask your local game shop what day they will have it in store.
