I love to read, I just counted that I have read 10 books since June and am now begining the 11th. I loved the DaVinci Code series by Dan Brown, the Splinter Cell series Created by Tom Clancy (but written by David Michaels), but recently I have been reading The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, which I am starting the 11th and final book tonight. It has been amazing so far, the conclusion looks just as good. There also was a shirt lived TV show called Legend of the Seeker that was pretty great as well. I intend to run a The Sword of Truth RP game here on vizzed when I get Internet again.

fightorace : I'll find some dragon romance novels for you, then.

I enjoy manga, as well. I also like comics of most kinds, unless it's ecchi or hentai. I can take ecchi, but not into cartoon porn...

SoshiMariko : Got that for free on Kindle going to try to read it sometime.

I generally stick to epic fantasy, I should take a picture of what i read one summer.

WoT book 13 in a little over a week I can't wait.

Edit: Now I notice someone brought up Sword of Truth. Don't get me wrong it's a good series, but it gets a bit "preachy" toward the middle and stays that way. Furthermore the ending felt super rushed. Not a bad series, but it gets dragged down a bit.

The best book in the Icefire series is probably Fire Star. Just felt like bringing this great series up. It's about clay dragon figures, some researcher dude, and a family. It's pretty good. The third book, Fire Star, is by far the most interesting one. It could have easily been the only book of the series, oddly enough. It had the most in-depth story to me. The plot just thickened so much better in this one, and the story didn't drag on as much. The first book in the series, The Fire Within, is the second best one.

The Fire Within kept things fresh with a great combination of humor, fantasy, and sitcom style plotlines. It didn't drag on like the second book, Icefire. That one... Just feels like it drags on. Oh well.

One book I'm reading right now is Dracula The Un-Dead by Drace Stoker. It's the true sequel to the classic Bram Stoker novel Dracula, and is very good. I'm already hooked. Also, it's not Stephenie Meyer! If you want a great horror novel, or just like vampires, check this masterpiece out. It's written by someone related to Bram Stoker. That's enough reason to read it.

septembern : Eh, honestly to me the Inheritance series has been fairly predictable and is just written on a level that I think I'm a bit too advanced for now. I read the last one during the summer I read wheel of time. I would generally read a book in wheel of time in around a week and a half or two weeks. Brisinger I read in 2 days (it's 800 pages). Don't get me wrong it has some cool ideas, but I think I'm just at a point where it's not aimed at the type of reader I am anymore, which is kinda disappointing as I thought the first book showed promise. I will admit I'm waiting for the last book as well to see how the story ends.

If you are wanting to read something a bit more complex in the fantasy genre PM me as I can recommend several series.

I love to read books, especially manga. I've read the entire Megaman: NT Warrior manga, and have started reading Dragon Ball Z and Beyblade. I was also kinda disappointed by the Inheritance "trilogy," as it has been kinda predictable and borrows too heavily from previous books, in my opinion. My favorite series is The Lost Years of Merlin by T. A. Barron and the series that revolve around that one. They are very well written, and you can tell that the author really enjoyed writing the book, as it comes alive.

Most certainly I like to read, the longest series of books I´ve read is the 82 books series Margit Sandemo wrote that is split into three series, the first being "The lengend of the Ice people" that is 47 books, followed by "The warlock" 15 books and completed with "The legend of the Realm of light" being 20 books. So in total her series spans a good 22550 pages with each book being around 275 pages. But my latest read has been R.A. Salvatores "The legend of Drizzt Do´Urden" a 13 book series but there are also individual trilogies that follow it and a side quintet called "The Cleric Quintet" so I´ve done 17 books of Salvatore (around 6375 pages with each book being around 275 pages) and I´ve yet to read "The hunter´s blades" trilogy that I´ve already bought and that trilogy is also with Drizzt as the main character, so being just done with the original 13 books that have kept me entertained through lunch breaks and bus rides I still have something nice to look forward to

Aside from those I´ve also read all the current Eragon books, LOTR, The Harry Potter series, the first books of The Tunnels series, Ender´s Game, Warcraft Archive + Cycle of Hatred, The Night Angel trilogy and more books.

All in all, books rock! And I love to read.

Edit: Noticed this thread just says "books" but not "novels" so I could include all the manga I´ve read... but for the sake of not making too long a post I will skip that.

There was a time when I was younger that I used to always want to go to the library and check out Greek mythology books. I'd learn about a different God or story each week. Good times. It's weird. Many things don't interest me, but when I find something that I like (baseball, evolution, etc.) I can't stop. I always love reading, it's just more common for me to read articles and blogs and such...but occasionally books too.

Just finished "Confessor" and as an ending, it would be a little rushed, but I just learned that there is a new Sword of Truth book coming out early next year entitled "The Omen Machine"

I like to read a lot of different books actually; sometimes I read sports, sometimes about private investigators or detectives, on occasion a book about TV or Radio, and on occasion I read a book about food or ghosts or something like that.

I absolutely love to read! I read a LOT of different things, and will read just about anything handed to me, but I enjoy science fiction the most. I particularly enjoy anything Warhammer 40k related (hence the username...) and I like discovering lesser known scifi or fantasy writers. I really like John Ringo's Council Wars series (been waiting on the next book for three years.... man has too many series to write for though most of them don't hold my interest) and Brent Weeks Night Angel Series was one of the best trilogies I've ever read, and it was his debut series! Can't wait to see what else he does...

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
