halp i cant make the freaking games work. it just says MISSING ROM OR CHD FILES press any key
im using the normal mame and i got it from emulator-zone
games i tried
battletoads
turtles in time
x-men
simpsons

and i left them zipped

I think the problem is more than likely you don't have the parent files, this is described in the FAQs i just linked you to.
