I think It would be pretty close, but I'd go with Bahamut because he has a more powerful attack. His flare ingulfs the victim and ifrit's just burns them and smashes them to the ground, but...I still say it's pretty close

Jake.. why did you edit my post? what did you edit? At the moment for me in FFVIII Ifrit is really strong because i fight heaps an i tend to fight things that are really strong so they get heaps of EXP. At the moment Ifrit is my strongest but i'll let you know if that changes. But remember in FFVII there are 3 Bahamuts, Bahamut, Neo Bahamut and Bahamut Zero. I think the last Bahamut you get (Zero) is the strongest of the 3, but Neo comes close.

I still prefer Knights of the Round to most summons. It was awesome it hits the target like 15 times doing tons of damage (depending on how strong your chars. are.) But yeah Bahamut Zero was the second strongest in VII.


Oh and there was one other in VII that was pretty cool (it is kind of a summon) Supernova.

Good one! Disapointing you can't aquire SuperNova but that summon kicks ass!!!! It would always kill 2 of my three characters because you can only use Shiled on one person. And Knights of the round hits 12 times. Being that there are 12 people on the Round Table of the Knights. And yeah it does depend on your characters, well aminly the one who summoned them. If you get there magic power up near 200 which isn't that hard then yeah, everything becomes really powerful! its really good to do that. Espicially with strength. But i found i could do 49996 damage with every attack and use zero MP. I thought that was a better deal so after a while i stoped using summons and magic all together.
