console version.. i wish. that game owned. royal rumble mode ftw!
used to team up with my buddy as the natural disasters.
definitely still my favorite wrestling video game, i think.
also up there are pro wrestling and wcw wrestling for the nes.
pretty much all the wwf games for the n64 and such were all the exact same, just with different characters. kind of gets old after a while, but playing with friends can be fun.
we make up the most ridiculous characters..

sega26 : I remember spending a lot of time in the arcade at the bowling alley playing the old WWF games… It was definitely one of the best strictly arcade wrestling games ever produced even by today’s standards it is unfortunate that A no one made the game for any consoles and B that no one can actually find one of those arcade machines today at a reasonable price. I think the Wrestlefest game was the first to have a battle royal and steel cage featured on it. I would love it if I were able to play that again even 20+ years later.

LOL. You guys are gonna be so jealous... My neighbor had that in his garage when we were young. He also had WWF Superstars which was the game that came before Wrestlefest and had similar graphics and style. All we had to do was use the key, open the thing where the quarters go in, and click this thing to give us 99 credits. Then we could play as long as we wanted.

Kryptic : Ahh, the benefits of friends with connections… I remember I use to play the game so much that I use to use a chair to kneel on so my legs wouldn’t get tired, which when you’re disabled is hell… I really wish I knew how to buy one of those machines. I have always wanted to turn a room in my house into like a mini arcade with consoles and old school machines hooked up in one room.

I would need a bigger house though obviously but it would still be nice to have one machine maybe even old school Pac-Man… I wonder if you could find those games online somewhere since it seems like they have emulators for everything now.
