what is the point of having so many hacks on the website when people come on this site to enjoy classic video games? People want to come on this site and enjoy a game that they have wanted to play, or haven't played before and they start the game, they get half way through it and then realise that there is not a possible way for them to carry on with the game. Why should we waste our time and our VIZZ on playing a game that cannot be completed. Also there are games that are not hacks but are instead games that do not load or work. Please would someone give me a reason for why these games should be on the site.

Ok, this is my interpretation of why there are many hacks.

The reason that they're are many hacks is because the people who created certain hacks try to allow people to have fun in a different way, and David wants to show us these hacks and know what we think of them. There are some hacks that aren't very good, and they're are some hacks that freeze up, and I do think that when a hack isn't well liked that it should be removed. The reason is that there are bugs in the hack, and the creator of that hack would release a better version of the hack. If you don't won't to play these hacks, then maybe you should read the comments on the hack or just look at its rating, its your choice. There are hacks that are truly great, and I enjoy the good hacks a lot. If you find out that a hack wasn't all that great, then maybe you should get a Viz refund or make posts on the forums to earn Viz. Yes, this site has many classic video games, but it's not like you're being forced to play the hacks. For the games that just don't work and are not hacks, maybe you should list these games that don't work and ask about it in the Retro Game Room Help Forum.

Speaking of that, this thread doesn't belong here, it should go in the Retro Game Room - Help, Updates, and Discussion forum.

Hacks are just differed versions of the game. Sometimes hacks are better than the game, so it's fun to play them for an all new adventure.

EDIT: I fixed your sig here, because it was messing up the thread

As vizwiz said, it's your choice if you dont wanna play hacks. Others enjoy it though. They are still retro games but modified a bit to add something new to the game. The perfect examples are the pokemon hacks like this one: https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/retro/game.php?id=11552&system=gba&name=Pokemon-Ruby-Destiny-Life-of-Guardians

An entirely different plot compared to the normal pokemon games, but its fun and I actually find it better than the real games.

As for your other questions, vizwiz already answered it.
