I can't stand it where I live. When I go outside, there aren't many people, but the people that are out there are usually smoking pot or something. Almost every night there is a shooting near where I live and police come by. In fact, just a few days ago there's was a stabbing on there block next to my block, and it was at the house right behind my house. Whenever I get the chance to move way when I'm old enough, I probably will.

Well, I like the province I live in, but I don't always like my city. There are too many gangs and crime. My neighbours are like drug dealers or something and are always causing trouble, which is a shame, because the rest of the neighbourhood is all kind, elderly people and family's. It's why I go out to the country so often. I need a vacation from where I live.

I despise the place where I live. No, its nowhere near as bad as what vizwiz123 described, but my town is filled with a bunch of redneck idiots who believe "Texas will rise again!" and you can never have an intellectual conversation with almost all 17,000 of the people in my town. Besides, there are some kidnappings that happen here, and our police force sucks. All they want to do is hand out speeding tickets and library fines (jk on that, its just used to describe how pathetic they usually are).

So in the long run, no, I don't appreciate the town I live in. As soon as I am done with college, I am going to live somewhere better.

Being a Michigander, the weather here sucks. Hot in the summer, and cold in the winter, no in-between. I would not mind this as much if we lived in a better neighborhood. Not to say it is not nice, in fact, its quite peaceful. I however, can't stand how boring it is. NOTHING interesting happens here. I've always been more of a city person, and yet I'm stuck living in the middle of nowhere...

I live in a very small town. Less than 500 people live in the towns limits. The population is too small for me. I like to be able to blend into the backdrop and not be bothered by other people. You can't do that here, everyone knows everyone so I get stopped quite often by people I don't want to talk to. Then there is absolutely NOTHING to do unless you drive to the city that's at least a 45 minute drive away and even the city sucks. All we have here is two antique stores, yes i said two. I don't mind the antique stores, I go there every so often, but other than that there is just a bar. None of my friends live in this town and most people are rather boring and mundane. It's more like a prison rather than a town. It's not bad in terms of the danger level (we've only had a few drug busts before) so I'm thankful for that.
