Hey guys, I recently entered a relationship, but I'm not sure where we are in it. I've told her how I feel, that I have a crush on her, and we've talked about things that I wouldn't just talk about with any girl, but I'm not sure how she feels about me. She says she has a boyfriend (long distance), but both of us are convinced that he's cheating on her, and she says (I'm paraphrasing) "he needs to know that he can be replaced" How do I know how she feels about me?

ALSO: How do I know how I feel about her?

If she has another boyfriend, how are you in a relationship with her?
If she is both with him and you, then she is the one, who is cheating on the other guy!

At midnight, his (female) "neighbor" texted her. With his phone.

We haven't done anything that would be considered cheating.

I don't think she's using me, because I've been used before and usually they're agressive and public about it.

I hope I'm wrong about the "using" part.
If I were you, I would avoid doing anything with her, till she breaks up with him once and for all.
But that's just me, I'm not saying that you have to follow my advice. I just hate being the 3rd or 4th person in a realationship, because I think that 2 people are enough in one

Well... yeah, I'mma have to agree with noelia for this. Tell her you can't be doing this unless she makes her final decision: you or the other guy. Most likely, from what she says, the choice will be you .
And if it's not? Always look on the bright side of life... which in this case is, there's always other fish in the sea.
Unless it's been poisoned, but then hey, you're probably gonna die soon if it is anyhow :/.

I also agree with noelia if she can't decide who she is with then ditch her she is most likely using you as bait. Stay away from the ones who can't decide

I am also going to have to agree with noelia. This girl is using you as bait to get revenge on her long-distance boyfriend. For all you know, it could be that the other girl he is with could just be a friend, but then again, he could be cheating on the girl you like. Sometimes, you have to be forceful and say its either you or him. And if she can't decide, do what JigSaw said. That's about all of the advice I can give you, sorry if it didn't help too much

monsterbad0 : While she may not be baiting you, you should still be concerned that she had another guy, I'm not saying dump her as along as she dumps him, just be mindful. And another thing to do in a relationship is to make sure it isn't based entirely on feelings. We all know that's how you get attracted to a particular person, but it should be based mostly off of friendship.

Do you know if she even likes you? I don't think I read anything in your first post that actually said anything about that.
I do hope she's not using you, but that's not really the point. The fact is that she already has another guy, even if it's long distance. And you should be very careful who you choose for a relationship.
Plus, just because she talks to you about things that you usually wouldn't talk to girls about doesn't mean that she has the same feelings for you that you have for her. She might be asking you for advice(which isn't a bad thing haha), but that doesn't mean she likes you. I've had girls ask me about things or talk about things that I don't usually discuss with other girls, but she doesn't like me, I'm sure.
The point is, she's very unsure about this it seems(i'm assuming this), so the best you can do as a friend is support her. But it's probably not wise to just make a move on her until she can make up her mind.

you're still young, 15 i believe so dont worry too much about stuff like this. Jus enjoy high school, date lots of girls, not jus one, a LOT, and you'll be ok.
Now if u really really like this girl, just know that from personal experience, long distance relationships are useless and 99% of the time dont work out. And if she's using you whatever like i said ur young, its gonna happen again and again. Jus roll with the punches and you'll be fine. Jus dont let stuff hurt u or soncern u too much.

Update for all that care: She's broken up with her boyfriend, and now she's looking at me with more interest. My life is good right now.

If it was a long distance relationship in the first place, I can't imagine it being too serious. It's really difficult to retain a meaningful connection with someone when you can't even see them in person, hug them, go out with them, etc.

If she has broken up with the other guy, then it seems like things are going your way... I hope things keep going well for you. Honesty is the best policy. If you're ever unsure about how she is feeling, just ask her. Ask her to be honest with you.

monsterbad0 : I think we’ve all had a relationship or two that have had similar circumstances… My advice is take things slowly. You never know if there is something real between you and someone you’re interested in or if she’s using you as a way to make whomever she’s seeing jealous long distance or not. If it is the latter it is never good to be used like that.

You want to make sure that if you pursue a relationship that the person on the other end is just as committed as you are and isn’t playing you along.
