I believe that if someone signs up for the service they should be ready and prepared to fight. I know that my dad will never have any gripes about going, except for being away from his family. But he will still go and do his job. Thats is what it is. It is a job.

oh yeah.... I'm tired of the people running from the US because they don't want to fight...

so what did you join the army for? free college? pretty lame reason if you ask me ( if that is the ONLY reason)...

if you are in the army.... you are expected to be able to fight in a war if there is one.... those that refuse are guilty of treason (I think).... and should be tried as such

Your missing the similarity that was being pointed out. Our country is practically divided over this war. The last time this happened was in Iraq and it wasn't a good time for our country at all. Also, the death rate in Iraq is big enough, and there is no sight now as to when it will end. Vietnam only ended because we pulled out...this could end the same, though I don't wish to back that up since I don't believe it. I'm just suggesting a possibility

well, Nasus does have a point.... in that I expect the attacks will occur on or right before the 30th.... not neccesarily a high death toll, but very possible...

however, I don't see how terrorists attacking and stopping a democratic election is bad on Bush's books.... isn't it exactly what should be happening? Bush has brought democracy to this country... and the terrorists are fighting it...
