Yeah i'd like to see peoples opinions on cloning... i diidn't see it here so i'd thought i'd make it....

i'm for it... 100%. we need clones to gain extra organs and blood... though it really lowers the value of what a human life is worth, clone or not...

What would happen if someone like Hitler cloned himself a thousand times?

In other words: Cloning is NOT a good thing...

Well, if Hitler was cloned 1,000 times, would that still mean we'd have 1,000 Hitler personalities? O.o

But I say no to it. There are too many people on this planet as it is.

And you forget that you would have to kill those people to get those organs. I'm against it.

Yeah but that sorta cheapens the value of life. You would have people that would do stupid things just because they could get a new organ to replace it.
Otherwise than that I don't know. If they just did organs maybe. But anything more probably not like the stem cell thing they would have to kill embreyoes.

you guys really need to read up on cloning....

there are several types of cloning.... the one most refered to is the one where we would clone the entire person/animal etc....

this is the hardest and least successful type...

and even when it works.... the person cloned is nothing like the clone... environmental upbringing negates the biological connection the 2 may share....

if there was a way to create organs to save lives I'd be up for it.... that is useful.... but otherwise I'm against actual cloning....

I remember my bio teacher getting all excited about this. They were doing this with adult stem cells and putting them in like molds where the cells grew to make the organ. They make like a bladder for a dog or something. So it works. They are just fine tunning it.

I am thinking prolly not. Because it would be far more expensive then acctually growning an animal. Cost and Reward. There is a balance needed.

somehow i doubt that, however, they could use 1 super tasty animal and clone it a million times... if they sell everything the make, it would not cast too much... but i don't think technology is that far yet...

Well now days they are putting human cells into pigs, so we have half human half pig monsters running around. ITs seems prettty gross to me. I don't see the purpose in cloning people. Even to save thier lives it sounds pretty gross to me. Theres a taboo against human cloning. But if people don't die when they're supposed to then they will pass on thier stupid genetics, nullifying darwins survival of the fittest. I mean do we want a stupid person who always gets drunk and has 13 wives, to get in a car wreck, so he can have kids with his next hoochie mama and etc etc.

Well there seems to be a taboo against cloning humans... mabey go watch full metal alchemist you HOSERS. mabey you should read the book with Frankinstein in it. And thats all I have to say about that.

Although im betting we could alter a clones genes somehow to make it the fittest and strongest creature. I think cloning is a very interesting subject and in many ways im for it, but of course it can be abused and really it shouldn't be used for people to clone pets or family members, im generally against that part.

Nobody could ever possibly hope to clone a thousand hitlers. It's TOO costly, TOO slow, and by the time all those hitlers were old enough, with all their environmental influences, None of them would be the same. If you think about it, Hitler was probably a good guy, just mad at the world for being so mean to him. Some Polish jerk could have thrown a beer bottle at him from a vehicle, back when he was a teenager, and that could have made him go nuts and decide to become a great speaker so he could influence the world to kill that man and his entire race.

If you had the resources to make a thousand hitlers, why not just make a thousand babies and educate them all the way you wanted them to think? It'd take more than all the money in the world to make a thousand hitlers anyways, and controlling the education of a thousand children is liable to produce much better results..

Come on, I didn't mean Hitler literally. ¬_¬ It was just an example, ok? Cloning can lead to bad things.

Another thing, if a person was about to die, and he was cloned, to "live longer". The clone would have to live up to his twin, and the feeling of just being there as a replacer for someone, I don't think that would be a good feeling...

Haven't you heard about the identical twins that were seperated at birth? There were two that both were police officers, and both had a dog named Toy. Several other things that I forgot about too. That has to count for something when looking at clones.

Yeah, im wit Neojazex... Cloning would be good. And for killing them to get the organs.. just don't clone human functions such as a brain. It would be a successful working clone.. But just brain dead... It would be like creating a full clone that has no feelings... thoughts... or any human functions.

Soon to come...

Need for speed: Underground 3! The trailer to
the game that doesn't exist!!!

Organs are the only positive thing I can see about cloning, and they've managed to "breed" organs seperately, so then I see no positive thing about it at all.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
