So I saw the banner that was flown over the U.S. Surf open and I thought I'd post the link here. It's been a month with nothing resolved of the subject. This would surely tick me off, I feel for the family. So what do you think, is this a cover up? Conspiracy? Or was the guy really destroying merchandise as the police report describes in the Channel 8 link?

I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to cover up what they did up. And usually even when cops do something wrong, they go public very quickly with everything that happened. SO most likely the department is trying to take care of their officers and keeping the truth from the public.
