OK. heres how the contest goes. starting today at 10:00 P.M. vizzed time, i'll think up a pokemon and you all who participates will think of a good moveset for the pokemon. to find a good moveset:
1. consider the nature. what stats are lowered, and what stats are heightened? think of attacks suitable for the attack stat that is the highest.
2. status attacks. if you were to face a shedinja and your pokemon had no super-effective attacks, you may need moves like leech seed or will-o-wisp to KO it. also consider the opponents' defenses. stat-rising and stat-reducing moves will help there. a baton pass combo will work, too (some pokemon cant learn baton pass).
3. counter opponents who do well against the pokemon with super-effective moves. some pokemon who may not stand a chance against other pokemon can learn a move to hit the opponent hard with a really effective hit. eg. torterra with stone edge against pidgeot, staraptor with close combat against steelix, and many more.
4. use first-strike moves to finish a pokemon with low health. these moves can swiftly defeat an opponent before it can use a recovery move. they can also be used if the opponent has low health and your pokemon is also on low health. that move can save you.
5. use recovery moves. if your pokemon have low health, recovery moves will be important. some recovery moves are affected by weather, such as synthesis. also try to use weather effects to activate abilities or do weather combos.

the first pokemon will be umbreon with a timid nature (speed benefit, attack hindrance), but wait until its 10 o'clock. then it will start. the contest will end at 8:00 P.M. vizzed time tomorrow and the winner will get 500 viz, so good luck.

I would give It Mean Look, Baton Pass, Wish, and Toxic

If you're talking about in a match against other people over Wi-Fi/Multiplayer, It would be a Mew with a Bold Nature (Defense up, Attack down) and these moves:

Mean Look (opponent can't change Pokemon; needed in case opponent tries to change Pokemon after Mind Reader is used)
Mind Reader (next move will always hit)
Sheer Cold (one hit KO; and it's Ice so it'll always work)
Psychic (in case the opponent is immune to one hit KO moves)

Put a PP Up on Mind Reader and Sheer Cold, and you'll always win!

For Luxray I will say Crunch, Discharge, Hyper Beam (finisher/ last resort only), and Iron Tail since TM's should count.

the contest has ended for today. both contestants had good movesets, but the best was bob92. he earns another 500 Viz. the contest wont be on tomorrow due to ~sakura~ day, though.

EDIT: sorry i didnt put on the next contest, but it now begins again. this contest is a special pokemon contest. black and white will be coming out in america in about spring 2011, and i have a pokemon idea for it, called Nega-Lugia. it will be a dark- and psychic- type pokemon. your challenge is to think of moves that the pokemon can learn. TMs/HMs, moves by level-up, and move tutor attacks. be specific about the level that Nega-Lugia can learn what move of choice, and you can even come up with your own move by level-up. this contest will be on until i get 20 entrants and the winner will get 1,000 (thats right, 1 g) Viz. so, good luck

dark thunder,lvl 70,it makes it rain,then 2 black thunderbolts strike the opponent,the first giving darkness damage,the second giving electric damage

dark pulse,lvl 50,a move much like water pulse but causes dark damage

hail,lvl 25,a move that causes it to hail for 2-5 turns,causing damage to all non-ice or water types

calm mind,lvl 40,causes special attack and special defense to go up

that wasnt what i wanted, actually. here's a layout to help

Level-up: lv -- *move name* (not just one. remember, its an example for layout)

Tm/Hm's: TM -- *move name*
HM -- *move name*

move tutor attacks: *move name*

you get two tries and that's it. make the best moveset possible
EDIT: since no one is having a good time with this, im canceling this contest. the next one is a shedinja with a timid nature (speed up, attack down). think hard now. this one is tricky
