I suggest not cutting down rainforest and etc, but trying to grow Tress and plants in places like AUstrelia, and egypt or something. If its possible.

I don't see why we can't just cut down enough...JUST enough for what we need and leave the rest. Let the creatures have their home. How would they like it if everytime they get settled in a house, they had to pack up and move because someone takes it away from them? The trees don't harm anything...

I still say we should cut down thier houses and see what they think and how they live. Then maybe they would get a clue...just cut down what we need and leave the rest. In the town next to mine they cut down a whole section of the woods so they they could put up a couple of houses...I was so mad...

Now, if we could do like the Elves in fantasy novels and live in treehouses there would be no problem, at least for housing. Then all that open land could be for planting, and crop rotation should take care of the nutrient problem.

Random fact: most of the Earth's oxygen actually comes from photosynthetic plankton in the Pacific Ocean. I was rather amazed when I heard that.
