No I haven't composed my own song yet, but I am currently learning how to play the Acoustic guitar and plan on composing some of my own.

I've tried a few times but failed.
I'm not much for writing solo's on my guitar.
I just get chords that sound good then try and write lyrics. But I just have nothing to write about.
When I'm older and have experienced more I think I'll try again.

I compose music quite often. Some of them have lyrics, while others are just pieces to listen to.

Actually, I'm in the process of writing a song for our choir that my teacher had me do. It's SATB with a piano part and an optional instrumental part e.g. trumpet, flute, etc.

I can't play any instrument because I'm a singer only so I don't know if this counts, but I wrote a song and can sing it without background music.

I'm trying to compose a song, but I'm no good at making up my own solos. My friend is the only one I know that's a good solo artist.

Yeah, composing a song is a little hard, but with extra effort, you can get a great result

I just started trying to come up with a song. I already write poetry but I never really started writing lyrics until really recently... and I'm still trying to make it sound good with me playing chords on the acoustic... and if i had a band, then that would be even better, but I don't

Yeah. Plenty of times. I have tons of ideas for songs I want to compose in the future, as well. I might go into electronic music if I can find a good freeware program. I also like to practice composition with Tuxguitar.
