Okay, here is the story :

I want to play Mother 3, but after those horrible nights after G***** (didn't spell, word freaks me out) from Earthbound, I didn't feel like playing THAT GAME (earthbound).

I went on ABOUT to get Mother 3 BUT I head about Lucas's Nightmare, and now, I am sacred.

I wonder why Idoi (Creator of the Mother series) wants to spared his childhood nightmare to us, Mother is a kid's game for Nintendo, DON'T HE KNOW ?

I got one person I would like to personally ask questions about this topic.

I also want to know if it is a good RPG

Mother 3 is one of the best games I have ever played, it really isn't that scary, so I wouldn't worry about it. If you don't like curse words though there are a few of them

I'll tell you if you should get Mother 3 or not.

I will tell you some things about Mother 3.

1. Do NOT play this game if you cry easily. Seriously, this game has MANY sad spots. It's really sad at the end and beginning...
2. Lucas's Nightmare, well, I have 2 things to say about him. Number 1: He's not in the game. It was said he was just supposed to be a boss that was made into the backround (Like Giygas). It was also said he was supposed to be Giygas and he was supposed to return in Mother 3, and Itoi removed it due to it scaring younger audiences. Number 2: He's really actually not Lucas's Nightmare. It's just a set of backrounds for the final battle that were removed for unknown reasons, probably because they were creepy or scary. I won't tell you why the backrounds were planned to be in the final battle so you won't have spoilers.
3. This game is AWESOME. It has perfect graphics, cool themes (UNFOUNDED REVENGE FTW YES YES YES), and funny parts (WESS DANCE ROFLOLOLOLOLOL. Oh yeah, lets not forget the fact you were BATHING IN SLUDGE THINKING IT WAS A HOT SPRING. XDDD)
4. It's split into 7 chapters, so expect a REALLY long game. It's hard at some points though.
5. There are some really tricky stages, like the stupid underwater level where you have to refill your oxygen at some points.
6. It has the video game version of Chuck Norris. (Flint)
7. It isn't really that scary. Lucas's Nightmare is really not in the game. (because no Japanese kids wanted to be scared by these horrifying backrounds) The scariest thing you will find in this game is probably the Ultimate Chimera. This guy sometimes appears in the places you will least expect him in. (THE BATHROOM!? O_o) And your heart always jumps when you see him unexpectedly. Why? Touch him, and he chomps your face right off. Thats right, it will be GAME OVER, baby. Oh yeah, another scary part is where you see a hallucination of Lucas's brother Claus in a certain point in the game, and when you talk to him, he says "Everyone's waiting for you. Everyone's waiting to throw rocks at you, spit in your eyes, and make your life hell. Who's everyone? Everyone you love". That is creepy.
8. Like Videogamegod said, it does have a LOT of cussing, mostly from the tom-boy character of the game, Kumatora.

So, you should play this game if...

-You liked the Mother games.
-You like humor in the games.
-You like long games.
-You don't get sad easily.

But I don't recommend you play the game if..

-You hate cussing
-You are scared of the Ultimate Chimera
-You cry VERY easily
-You keep your volume off at most times (THE MUSIC IS AWESOME!!)
-You hate long games or annoying puzzles.
-You hated the MOTHER series.

But overall, go buy it!
Oh yeah, and about Giygas, you will get over him eventually. I still haven't gotten over the music though, my goodness it's scary.

And so, my rating of the game? 8.5/10. Minus 1.5 points for TOO much sadness, and the STUPID. UNDERWATER. LEVEL.

But what was that pic I sew when I see a video's pic (the video is about the final battle) and it look like a floating Claus face in Giygas style, and people (in the comment tab, I never really watch the video) even said he is "possessed" by Giygas, some even said it is Lucas' nightmare.

Also, any tips to not get so freaking scared of Giygas, anyone ?

Claus IS a normal person. Except...well..MAJOR spoilers here. I don't want to tell you.
