I've stirred things so much in it, the finish wore off & the sound it makes now is similar to the nails on chalkboard noise.

The sound that bugs me the most is when somebody is talking, or telling a story, and they make a click sound when they are trying to think of what to say. It bugs me because they will do it 10-15 times in 5 minutes, and it is truly very, very annoying!

My mum doing the hoovering, crickets (my dad owns too many spiders it's sick), dogs constantly barking even more annoying if it's the neighbour's dog early in the morning, the hairdryer, the sound of chalk scraping against something in a weird way, 'screamo music', the sound of a TV on standby.. Last one is a bit odd and I suppose only some people will get what I mean xD!

I can't believe no ones mentioned polystyrene rubbing together? It doesn't get to you much when you make the sound but you can drive other people mad so long as you can bear it yourself.My friend says it physically makes him feel ill!I've not done it long enough to see what happens after he starts to feel unwell though:/

I'll need to hear it! you can get quite a good squeak from drawing your nails over a 3d hologram/moving picture card.Again that's a noise you can create to frustrate someone rather than just an unpleasant noise.I guess I should also say that i find the sound of crickets quite therapeutic as well.but perhaps i havent been as exposed to it as the people who are complaining about it?

I hate the sound of butter, etc. being spread onto toast. That crunching sound as the knife and whatever else is scraped across the toasted bread... I don't know why. It just gives me the heebie jeebies. I also hate it when people yell/sing overly loudly/make general loud noises just to get attention. Maybe it's just because I'm a quiet person myself, but it vexes me so.
