I watched a series on this website called WakeUpProject.com called The Arrivals, and it is a really great series that freed my mind! I don't know about all the religious/antichrist stuff but most of it is old news. I only got to part 3.

I thought it was pretty interesting. Not much I hadn't already heard of course.... but it did tie things together a lot better than other things I had seen. Doesn't waste too much time on any single subject so it doesn't drag too much.


I didn't agree with all it said, but I think the general idea is probably true. Either way I find information like this at least important to look at and put in the back of your mind if you do nothing else with it.... at least you'll have seen it and hopefully understand what happens in the future if these guys were right.

Well I’m really not sure what part of the videos you want comment on, but there are some areas of common ground between Islam and Christianity. There is one God--the creator of all things. Jesus of Nazareth was a Prophet. Moses was a prophet from God.

Acts 3:20-22-"And He shall send Jesus Christ,... For Moses truly said to the fathers, 'The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you."

Surah 3:45-[And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah ].

In Surah 19:19, He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy."

Surah 3:55-[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.

The Law of Moses is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Thus if God judges you by the Law of Moses on Judgment Day and you are innocent because you confess your sins to God, the Qur'an says, Surah 10:54-"And if each soul that wronged had everything on earth, it would offer it in ransom. And they will confide regret when they see the punishment; and they will be judged in justice, and they will not be wronged."

In other words if you possessed the whole world and offered it to God as a sacrifice for your sins, it wouldn't be enough to provide atonement for your sins. So how will you be judged in justice? If you are judged in justice, why is there even punishment? This doesn't make sense at all. This is why you still need a Savior. This is why Jesus was sent.

Well, I just wanted people to comment on things that grabbed more of your attention and to share your opinion on some things because I don't really know which things are true or not, but I do believe in some things that they shared such as the non-existence of aliens, and the the plan behind the New World Order, but one thing that i do keep in my mind (not saying it is or isn't true, but just having it in my mind) is the Story Of Jesus (Part 35), about his story being based on the Egyptian god Horus, the Sun god. There is another series on that website called "The Divine Book" which talks about Jesus and his divinity at one episode, and this is the link to that series:

alex360 : well, a lot of the info about Jesus was modified to be similar to Horus, but if you actually look at all the info (the true info) it's not as close as it seems. I've heard that comparison before and it's not as convincing as it sounds when it's given in a presentation like this one.

geeogree : Well, I don't know whether the whole Horus/Jesus similarity is true or not and I don't think it is because according to Islamic beliefs, the story of Jesus is different from the Christian beliefs. It was in that same episode (part 35 of the arrivals) and it's also in "The Divine Book" and the link is to that series in an earlier post i made.

a lot of the info about Jesus was "paganized" after the apostles died out (100-300 AD). I know Islamic beliefs regarding Jesus are different than Christian ones, but the comparison to Horus is exaggerated. Although there are similarities.... a lot of them were changed to make Christianity easier to swallow for a lot of the people in the Roman Empire.

geeogree : Thanks, you helped me clear some things out. I do believe that the info about Jesus was paganized because according to "The Divine Book" and a few other articles I've read on the internet, was that Constantine, A Pagan Emperor, in the Council of Nicaea, changed the info about Jesus.

well, I'm sure Constantine did some of it.... but it was done before that as well....

You lose the main leadership of anything and the truth about it is bound to be lost and or changed.

Why do you think there was a Reformation of Christianity. It was an attempt to get back to the old ways of Christianity..... except I think that a lot of the most original stuff is still lost to Christianity.

alex360 : The whole horus/jesus connection, has been debunked by lots of people. I'll try to find the video on youtube that debunked it well.

But with videos like this you can usually check a couple of facts and their story falls apart. Never just believe because it sounds good.

the tough thing for me when I come across something like the Horus/Jesus comparison is, are they deliberately using false information or are they simply uninformed about the issue and using it without knowing it's wrong.

And if they are doing it on purpose... then what other information do they have that is wrong?

geeogree : Well somewhere on their page, they have a little disclaimer that says "all that is shared in the following films should not be taken as absolute truth, but rather a well researched presentation to be further investigated by you", so they just share what they have found, and we should further investigate on it.

yeah, but how many people who watch a presentation like that actually go out and investigate any of it? I can imagine that some of the information they presented is extremely difficult to verify or dispute.... I'm simply cautious about the information after seeing something that I know is wrong.
