The Revolution stuff is quite interesting. Also I got the EGM Mag with Zelda and it has sone Revolution stuff as well.

It doesn't really matter whos richer......besides no one company can have sole control of the gaming market. The controller looks like a thinner xbox controller to me. It looks pretty kool, although I dont like how they've formed it to almost exactly like a PC.

Are you sure that the owners of Sony have more money that Bill Gates? with the way Microsoft works something tells me they should be ahead of Sony in market value.

Boddah yeah Revolution is just the code name.

Those are just the suppossed pictures and that is an early version. Whether that will be the final product is yet to be seen. Also aren't most of their money tied up in stocks and what not on both sides?

Bills Gates only funds the X-Box...he's better interested in the next version of Windows than the 360.

I didn't mean that his money was tied up in Xbox stock I was talking about Microsoft stock. But yeah considering he loses money on every Xbox they sell I could understand that.

Don't hate it just because its beautiful. I believe since the next X-box's contollers will be entirely wireless they will be much more revolutionary than anything the gaystation has put out. There are only so many ways you can hold a controller my son. And Sony definitly doesn't have a patent on that type of controller because There were like 10 PC pads for the computer first. It seems like its just like the previous xbox pad, and they just moved the white and black buttons. I have always thought that the playstation controllers suck ass anyway. The only complaints I've ever heard about the x-box contollers are "its too big" or "Theres way too many buttons and pads" Which aren't bad complaints to have. I feel that the only thing that makes the playstation decent is its 3rd and in house developers. As I guess you could say that with any system. I'm saying there was nothing to distinguish itself from the saturn or anyother systems other than the games. Whereas the x-box focused on multiplayer gaming and at least had 4 controller ports. And thats all i have to say to the haters.

X-Box only focused on Multiplayer because its biggest game was funnest on Multiplayer. They were forced to go multiplayer because they made you pay for online service. People wouldn't pay the monthly costs etc. for Halo and a couple other decent online games(as good as Halo was a game free LAN parties woulda owned X-Box online if Halo was the sole main online game). The X-box was built to be an online system before the sucess of halo. halo could have bombed and it would still be a online system. Keep in mind that the fist Halo wasn't even online. There are also three or four single player rpg's that are xbox and pc exclusive. Like kotor kotor 2, jade empire, Morrowind (my favorite), fable (not that good).

I don't get what your trying to say there.... The part about Lan parties doesn't even make sense. But your wrong about the x-box becomeing an online system, as plans for Live were drew up before Halo was released.

Well I've already said all I need to on Final Fantasy, Dynasty Warriors is decent, but its been outsold by many x-box titles, X-box has MGS Substance which has a crapload more than the ps2 version, granted it doesn't have mgs3. GTA? What kind of a sick horrible game is that? Can I say popup? I will amit that I've played and beat them though. I don't think the ps2 has as many spectacular stunning games as the x-box. But if you throw in all the ps1 oldies, like ff tactics and lunar then the ps has a way better gamelibrary.

It appears Nintendo is completely redesigning their controller. They came out with the four buttons in a diamond shape and shoulder buttons first anyways before the PSX and XBox.

Square Enix seems to really be liking Nintendo's plans. As shown in this article: http://cube.ign.com/articles/611/611909p1.html

Also MGS Substance came out on the PSX as well. Also I think GTA has come out on the Xbox even with their newest game.

That's cool, Square should come back to Nintendo were it belongs.

About the X-Box controller comparison, you can't compare them accurately, unless you find a full screenshot of the 360 controller, but from the current sources it only looks like they re-vamped the buttons.

Also ofcourse theres gonna be s***load more on a console that came out after PS2. PS3 could be out within a couple months of Xbox 360 and be better.

Also Sony won the last generation of consoles fairly easy. PS2 definately beat X-Box until X-Box along with Halo dropped into a decent price to make it worth buying.

tho i ahvent made my final decision and i actually do like the Xbox to stay nuetral heres some info on XBox 360:

That was the original controller and it wasn't too shabby. But since Microsoft can roll with the punches and revolutionize, they listened to he consumer and made a smaller controller available. Basically they are the same controlller with one just miniturized. The transition from one to the other is seamless for me. And as for the full screenshots, you can look yourself, just offering a little on the post.

How about how the x-box cords were like 200 feet longer than the gamecube and ps2 ones? Or did you like how they had the little cord seperation feature, so you wouldn't ruin you console when you tripped on the cords?

Sounds like your making your final decision way to early. Sounds like your a sony fanboy who was comfortable in your dominace, untill the x-box came along. Sound kind of scared for your life that the PS will fade into anemiminityieytiyeTY.

Microsoft > sony because
1. Microsoft is an american company. Don't want to supoort the Japanese bass turds
2. Microsoft never manopolized the computer industry, they started out very small and got to wherre they were because of revolutionary ideas, and stuff.


I don't think Microsoft is the coolest ever, just the x-box. Beats the hell out of a MAC!!
