say if some people don't think bad language is so bad and some can just try and sensor the language like some mmorpgs do i was playing wow for reasons i don't want to discuss and i noticed you can take the bad language off and turn it on so if some people here don't really care about the language they can leave the people unmuted and if they do care they can mute the person is there any way some creators can do something like this.

swearing is just a pathetic attempt at expressing yourself. If you can't find the right word to use and need to swear instead I think that is pathetic.


And this site doesn't censor your swearing.... well only in the chat room, but that is mostly because there isn't always a mod around to watch for stuff like that.

OK this is what i meant if you first start out the cuss words are muted but if your are older and don't really care you can unmute it plus cuss words are not even mute are they? and i also like to inform that I'm fine with the word as long as they don't say it directly to some one like if they are excited that is what i don't mind and they are just words if someone is offended let them be they can file a complaint? and i also wanted to know if someone can just do something to fix the language issue its the same with other websites too you know. also just to let you know i don't use them i wanted to bring up the issue

I don't think using a swear word makes you less intelligent. For me I cuss a lot in real life when I'm talking to my friends. I think it makes you less intelligent when you swear at inappropriate times, like being in public or being around family or your friends family.

There is no need to implement a word filter as this is a family friendly site and hard swearing is against the rules.
The site owner wnats it that way and that's the way it shall be.
Honestly, you're more likely to get a word filter that cant be turned off then one that users can switch on and off at will, so there's no point really.
I just dont see the need for people to be crude in their posts as all in all it's supposed to be a kids site for everyone to chat about games and have a good time.
