So, I might need to get a root cannal in a month, if something goes wrong with my front tooth.
See, I am on color guard (the people who spin flags) and this week is our band camp. Another member was doing a toss, and it chipped part of my tooth because I turned around when she was catching it. I went to the dentist, and he fixed it all up, but he said if it turns brown or grey then I need to come back in to get a root cannal.
I know I'm allergic to A LOT of medicine. I've injured my leg quite often (23 casts, some from broken legs, others from enflamed and torn ligaments) and they tried to give me a medicine with codine in it, and I'm allergic to it. I'm also allergic to loratab, since it's like a branch off of codine or something.
I'm just kind of nervous that I might be allergic to the laughing gas. Is there a way to find out? If not, is it possible? What are the odds of being allergic to it?

To be honest I don't know much about allergies, because I don't have many. Actually I think that I'm allergic only to a specific kind of pollen, but nobody knows for sure...
Anyway, I think this thread would fit better at the "post about yourself" forum.

There seem to be mixed statements on the net, some say that you can be allergic to Nitrous oxide others say that it isnt possible.
I would say if you are concerned talk to both your doctor and dentist about it.
I say both because your doctor would know your full history as far as allergies and the dentist uses the stuff often enough that he should also be able to waive any fears you may have.
