ok i think broc is the hardest on pokemon yellow version because when i first started i only had my pikachu and nothing else and hit thunder attack didnt work at all and i lost several times to broc.

Well on the yellow version you can catch Mankey early on (in the grassy area below Pewter City and above the forest) and fighting pokemon do rather well against rock pokemon. That's how I always beat Brock on the yellow version.

I think Claire was the hardest gym leader. Yeah her dragons were easily fainted with ice attacks, but that friggin Kingdra was a doozie. With it being a water type I couldn't hurt it with ice so it drove me nuts.

Brock was the hardest for me too. All I had was my Pikachu and the only attack that could even attack his Pokemon was QuickAttack! It was always a gamble and pure luck when I beat Brock because he was just too hard. Oh yeah, this was in Yellow Version.

For me sabrina in pokemon soul silver was the hardest, her espeon would demolish my team because my pupitar was not evolved yet but on a funture playthrough I used Siczor on my team then the hardest gym fight was Misty in FR/LG I actually had to do a kamikaze with Tombstone using my Mankey to cut Starmie's speed then use pikachu use double team and hope to god swift doesn't critical.
