I watch the show when I can but I rarely can answer all 10 questions. Partially because the content is american.... and partially because a lot of the stuff you learn between 1st and 5th grade is really pointless stuff....

I put myself as contestant material since when I did watch that show I knew most of the questions, including the so-called "Million Dollar Questions"(which, now they're too cheap so they don't have a million dollar question now XD) I don't really like how they do the show though. It's like they say it's 1-5 grade questions, but they're not really. I mean come on, you don't learn periodic table stuff in 1st grade. That's just being freaking dumb lol. And plus the 5th graders are annoying lol. They've OBVIOUSLY gotten all the answers to the questions before the show starts

I can usually only answer 1 or 2 questions each show Not sure if the American one is the same, but the Australian one has things that I never learnt in 5th Grade.

I said I'm not contestant material. Mainly because these questions come from private school curriculum's and I grew up in public school. Sorry if I didn't learn some of this crap till later in life. Lol. Those kids are rather annoying prep school people anyway.

I think I would do alright on the show, but I would never go for the last question that multiplies your money. Its always the most random question, where if you dont know everything about the subject its not even worth trying.

If you ask me most of the questions do not even correspond with the grade level they are assigned to which is why the contestant usually fails. Or quite possibly it is staged but I get good grades in school and even I dont know the answers to some of these pretty random questions they ask.

I think I would be an excellent contestant on Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader? because I know my facts and still most of my material remebered from 3rd grade and up. I am currently going to college and in HighSchool I took AP and Honors classes, and was considered smart!

The title should definitely be "Do you remember random trivia, that will almost never help you in real life, that you were taught at least 10 years ago better than these kids who learned it not 10 months ago?"
