Hmm, at school I have maybe 50 or so. At home, Maybe around 65 at most, probably not quite that many.

At school, Comcast. This is a cable service.
At home, Directv. It is Satellite not cable.

If my laptop breaks down I call a company they send me a box I send it back and they fixx it as quick as possible and send it back. That is what my warrenty is for. I don't know the names of any computer stores though.

Again it is so varied it isn't funny. You got ads for websites, restaraunts, TV shows, drinks, food, fast food, sports, etc.

You have to have the satellite or cable to get them. We have what we call local channels that anyone can get. There are around 7 or 8 of those.

It depends. Cable usually has a cable that comes in from the telephone pole. The cable literally transmits the signal. Satellite is where you have a satellite reciever around your house and it gets the signal from a satellite and sends it to your TV. There is a box thing that comes with Directv.

I live in a town called Middletown, here we have comcast as a cable provider as does most of the american east coast for standard cable TV at least, for cable TV the signal is transmitted on coaxial cable with...RG-158 connectors I believe. If my PC breaks has problems I fix them myself (Im a comp technician/network admin in training). How does the education system work in Australia? do you guys eat any foods that are native to Australia?

*sigh* that doesn't help explain much of anything.

You start school when you're four or five, preschool or kindergarden. After that, there are 5 grades. K-5 is considered elementary school. Middle school or junior high, is usually grades 6-8, then you go on to high school, which is usually grades 9-12. After the 12th grade, you can opt to go on through college, for however many number of years you want, as long as you have the money to pay for it.

Anywho, I live in South Gate, a lovely *sarcasm* little suburb of Los Angeles, California. If you've ever heard of Compton (mentioned in many rap songs), I'm no more than a 10 minute drive from there.

The cable provider here is Adelphia (we're just a block out of the local Comcast companies service range). Adelphia sucks. We have about 50 or more channels on basic cable, you get more on digital cable though (need a box for it, like satellite), most of them are in Spanish though, since there is such a high latino population here.
