my wife of one year and i found out on may 19th 2010 that she had a brain tumor. it is stage 4. very aggressive, rapid growing. in order to do surgery, they had to deliver our daughter 2 months early. our little girl is doing fine, and my wife's treatments are going well, but the oncologist and chemotherapist both were quick to let us know that the treatments are not going to cure the cancer. they're mearly going to slow it down. she was given 2-3 years. i am a christian, and i know that God has a plan, i just worry....not knowing what his plan is...i know he knows what he's doing, but i'm afraid to accept that it's possible she may leave us. what if he needs her there, more than we need her here? hope this doesn't get taken down. it's my first post here, and the first time i've been this open about the situation. i didn't originally put this on here for anyone to comment on my situation, but you can if you want to. i just wondered if anyone had any fears worse than mine.

wow... I opened this thinking it was a "what is your fear" type poll... this is much more humbling to read.

This is one of my biggest fears. I just can't imagine losing my wife.... especially now that we've had kids. I don't know how I would manage to raise them and work and live life... would I remarry? I'm still young enough that I could remarry easily and make a new life... it would just be so hard to do....
