I think that the first mario game I played was (obviously) super mario bros. for the nes. After that, I played SMB3, and I started to get really interested into the Mario games. To this day, I still play all those mario games every now and then.

I'm a Mario fan. I have 13 of his video games. I love Super Mario Galaxy, the power ups are pretty cool and the levels are too. I love playing Mario games(you can tell because I said I have 13 so I have to like the games to have that much).

I prefer Sonic, but Mario is a wonderful series when it comes to RPGs. The series isn't such a favorite of mine, as I find all the brightly colored things about it kinda irritating. I like the games, but they aren't something I see myself playing much. If anything, I prefer the Playstation consoles exclusive platformer games if I want to play something exclusive to one console. The CD-i thing doesn't count, as Nintendo no longer owns the copyrights to those games for the CD-i.

I like the Paper Mario games. The Galaxy ones are okay, but the motion control crap is just meh.
