Did anyone else think FF7's ending was a letdown?

I loved the game but i am sorry to say I DID!!!

1. I really wanted to fight Seppy to the death myself.

2. Side quests and free roaming after the final boss. I wanted to go back into the world and people to say well done, but your jobs not over yet there is something trying to eat my kid please save him for me.

If this game is ever remade i would like what i mentioned above to be included and also wouldn't it be cool if you could play out Advent Children also.

It's ok if you thought it was a letdown. The whole game's highly overrated. It is a good game though.
Except... I don't get what your complaints are. There ARE sidequests and free roaming, but before the final boss. I'm sure most FF games don't let you free roam after beating the final boss. The only thing like it is the "New Game +" option in some games. FFVII... I think doesn't have that option, but whatever.
But yeah, there are some sidequests(if not little anyway.) Have fun beating Ruby and Emerald Weapon lol. I did. Took a little long though.

I don't see the problem either. You can just not fight the final boss and still have plenty of things to do, like Ruby and Emerald weapon. It would almost be like a different game if they let you roam around after all the stuff that happened to the planet after the final battle.
