I'm downloading ebooks like crazy and I'm looking for some new stuff to read. I generally like darker stories, Horror and Thrillers, but I'll also get into Fantasy books. Some of my favorites include the Harry Potter series, Queen of The Damned (Anne Rice), a couple Stephen Kings, blahblahblah.
As for manga I like generally the same thing as books but I also like uniquely drawn manga like Priest or Blade of the Immortal.

Well, for horror all I can suggest is Stephen King, but for fantasy, I really like Terry Brooks' Shannara series'. The first book is The Sword of Shannara, then The Elfstones of Shannara and The Wishsong of Shannara. After that there are a series of trilogies. I'll not lie, it took me a while to get into The Sword of Shannara, but I love it. The Shannara series is my all-time favorite fantasy series.

Another fantasy series I would recommend is the Dragonlance series. There are several chronicles and trilogies, but there are a few different authors who write the different storylines. I like them, but it is a little strange when you switch between the different writers with their own styles (but well worth it, in my opinion).

I don't remember which book was the last one I read (it's been a while) but it involved the red headed Druid lady who was bad at first and then took the dark haired, one handed, druid guys place (I'm saddened that I can't recall his name since he was one of my favorites)
