I'm sorry to say that I can't help since I don't know you exact location, and I've never played pokemon gold. I posted this so that you could at least get some Viz. Your best bet is to get defeated, which will cause you to lose some money, but you'll be taken to the last pokemon center you were at. If you don't want to be defeated than good luck getting out.

I've walked around there many times without flash or escape rope or dig (do you have dig?).
Just keep walking, I always managed to find my way, but if you really want to you can follow Merrik's idea and just let all your pokemon faint.

I got a new idea. since I'm great at pokemon games, I'll play the game to the point your at, find my way through, and then try to walk you through it. If you want me to do this than PM me and I'll start the game. (Or you could find a walkthrough online, which would probably be easier.)

i agree with jobab. kill all your pokemon. my friend got stuck there to. i sucsesfully killed all 5 of his pokemon. his feraligater was the hardest because it has all offensive moves. i had to run out of pp. i hope that my wize words of wizdom has helped you.
