Im trying to save up some money so i can buy my first playstation 3 or xbox but im totally clueless as to which i should get. i really like the first person shooters on ps3 but i also really like the rpg's and strategy games for xbox. and i have no idea which i should choose. Ive looked at reviews and compared them and everything but i cant make up my mind.

I need some help choosing D: please help

At first I thought this was a thread about something else, maybe change the title to "which one should i get?" or something, might make things easier

As for which one, well the way I see it the 360 has very few exclusive games (nearly every 360 game worth getting is on PS3 and/or PC) and the 360 has more hardware issues then the PS3.
And when I looked, the PS3 has nearly as many RPGs, and more of them seem to be either PS3 only or have alot of extra features that the 360 versions dont have.

Another thing to weigh up, do you want to use the consoles online system?
The 360 one costs money while the PS3 one doesnt.

I have looked into this alot myself when trying to decide whether or not to get either one and my findings are that the PS3 is going to be more value for money in the long run.
Of course, wait until you get more opinions, and just weight up whats best for you, that's what I say

I have both, and i must say i like the PS3 more. Free multiplayer, and NO RROD! i have had RROD twice, once was after less than a week of owning it. save yourself the trouble, buy a ps3.
EDIT: aslo if u like final fantasy games and MMOs then u will want a ps3, FFXIV is coming out this year for pc, but next year for PS3, no 360 version.

Thats what ive been getting a lot from my friends and people on these forums and stuff is that i shouldjust go with the ps3 cause apparently its better, i dont know cause ive ALWAYS been a die-hard xbox fan for some reason. i cant help it lol but i think i might just have to rent both for a month or so and rent a few games to see which i like the most
