Which one do you prefer?

As long as me, I used to have an ATI, but now I have an NVIDIA, because I couldn't play well a game that I wanted (btw, the game was assassin's creed).

I prefer NVidia, mostly cause it has better compatibility with games and runs smoother then ATI cards.
There's a good reason alot of games have the NVidia logo on startup, but I dont think I've seen one that has the ATI logo

noelia : Oh yeah, I had the same problem (most likely) with my ATI card and AC, found out that a certain set of drivers are needed to play it properly.
But if you install the drivers that come after that certain set the graphics mess up again
The same card also wouldnt let me play Return to Castle Wolfenstein, yet it worked perfectly fine with the NVidia card.
And mind you, both cards were close to top of the line and are equal in power to each other, so it's really just that ATI isnt as gamer friendly I think.

Yeah, I think that I'll never buy an ATI again, because I usually use my PC for games and without NVIDIA, most of them doesn't work good

I'm sorry but nVidia just pays those companies to make their games run better on nVidia cards. Right now, ATI is hands down a better product than nVidia. The 5000 series Radeon blow most other cards out of the water. If you don't want the newest series of graphics cards you could get 2 high end 4000 series Radeon and Crossfire them together to get extreme graphical output. Not to mention Eyefinity, links displays and allows you to play games so that you have that peripheral sense from your view.

well i have only used ATI cards, but they have all been awful. Some ATI cards get really hot, most games (except ones like stalker) are optimized for Nvidia, phys x chokes ATI cards. the next card i buy will defiantly be Nvidia.
